I'm not going to be able to write a whole essay, I'll leave that for you, but I can give you some examples of advantages and disadvantages of the internet ;)
Advantages
- it helps people connect and share informations around the world.
- you can easily learn new things and also learn about things that happen around the world.
- some people can use it for selling and/or marketing their products to make money.
- you can do online shopping, so you don't have to move out to get your essentials.
- some people use it to donate and fund.
- its a good source of entertainment.
-internet also lets people work from home which can sometimes be an advantage.
Disadvantages
- the internet can be addicting and a time waster, making you not be productive.
- cyberbullying.
- sometimes causes distraction.
- you can be hacked, have viruses and be stolen from.
