My grandmother did not a phone.
She watch the news at the movie-theatre
She had a record player and would listen to records.
She did not have a mobile phone.
Exercise 2
I asked my grandmother whether she had a computer. She replies that at that time there were none.
I asked my grandmother whether her parents had a car. She replied that her parents did not have a car and had to walk to school.
I asked her whether her parents were strict. She replied that her parents were stricter that mine.
Exercise 3
Now I am a big girl (or a teenager) I do not suck my thumb. I can go to bed later. Sometimes I go out for a party with my friends. I can now go on my own to school.
